We've gotten our Starcraft jokes out of the way with the title, so let's focus on what matters: Los Angeles sludge crew Black Sheep Wall are nasty. Almost 30 years after Side B of Black Flag's My War laid the punks-on-Sabbath blueprint, Black Sheep Wall continue to lay on the thickness. Sometimes, more harmonious moments arise ala Pelican, but they don't dominate the phalanx of downtuned hate vibrations. Most bands of this ilk seek to push out warmed-over Eyehategod nihilism, but Black Sheep Wall sound legitimately pissed and with something to say. They're set to release No Matter Where It Ends in the States through Season of Mist on June 5th, and because we know you're impatient for a taste, here's an exclusive stream of "Black Church." Stream the track below. Feel free to share your thoughts on the song and/or your best stories in the comments. Black Sheep Wall - "Black Church" by crustcake
