We'll cut to the chase. You've seen us fawn over Minneapolis metalgaze trio Dreamless. But do you want to actually see them live?

If you happen to live in the Twin Cities, make sure to clear your plans for May 12. Dreamless have scheduled a show at Hell's Kitchen (80 S. 9th St., Minneapolis) - "our first true live performance," as guitarist, bassist, and vocalist Cory Strand puts it. The band's been augmented as a five piece for this show, which is also being recorded for video and audio. Why? Who knows, Prince could make an appearance. It could be Dreamless' big break!

Texas is a long way from Minnesota, but this still sounds like something amazing. Strand's promising "total sonic obliteration," and we'll take his word for it. Something's gotta drown out those accents. (Just kidding, we love our Minnesotan readers.)

More details on the show here. Forgot to check out the interview we did with them? We kept it up, just for you.
