You thought the Metalliance tour, featuring Helmet, Saint Vitus, and Crowbar, couldn't get any heavier? You were wrong, buddy, and you'll be sorry for casting doubt. The tour now features Savannah 'cake favs Kylesa, Chicago bruisers The Atlas Moth (ay Steve! Grow your 'stache back!), Providence's Howl, and Northwestern beer rockers Red Fang. Hot damn! Expect plenty of shirtless Kirk Windstein, down-tuned brutality, marriage proposals to Laura Pleasants and Andrea Black, and mini-shrines dedicated to Wino. Crowbar also have a new record out next week, the long awaited Sever The Wicked Hand, that totally kills and will be worth obtaining by any means necessary (especially purchasing it).

I'm not happy that I have to choose between this and fucking Agalloch. Any thoughts from the peanut gallery?

That is a tough decision indeed.

Also, Jon Stewart looks really snooty in that Helmet clip. Why can't he get bands that decent on The Daily Show?
