Converge have posted a string of tour dates following their stop at the Scion Rock Festival. The seven day stomp around the eastern United States is a hardcore fan's dream come true. The tour includes Coliseum, Ceremony, Rise and Fall, Pulling Teeth, and a one off show for Genghis Tron. Fuck! These shows are going to be insane!
The band also said that while they have been writing new material for some time, they will actually be hitting the studio after this run of shows. Expect a new record out this year!

for years i've been wanting to like converge. i'll hear a completely awesome song i've never heard before, and will think i might actually be able to get into them... then that goddamn boring "boo-dat-boo-dat-boo-dat-boo-dat" beat comes in an ruins everything.
well, i would try to constructively talk about this subject but i have a completely unhealthy obsession with this band. good thing it has only lasted ten years...oh, wait.
