This week NYC has a little something for everyone in the 'metal' scene. Most notably is a two night stay from Trouble and MINSK. You can catch both acts Sunday night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg or Monday night at The Knitting Factory. Witchcraft are playing next Wednesday night with Graveyard at the Bowery Ballroom, you may have noticed that we dig those bands here at Crustcake.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, if you want some cheap (in price, not value!) grind thrills go check out Violent Bullshit (ex- Orchid) at the Cake Shop tonight (Thursday). Read more for a complete list of our recommended shows this week.
See you out there.Thursday 9/11 (8 PM) - Violent Bullshit, Crash Diet Crew @ Cake Shop [$5]
Friday 9/12 - Fender 50th Anniversary Jazzmaster Concert Featuring Thurston Moore, J. Mascis, and more @ The Knitting Factory (all club)
Sunday 9/14 - Minsk, Trouble @ The Music Hall of Williamsburg [$14]
Monday 9/15 - Minsk, Trouble @ The Knitting Factory (main space) [$14]
Wednesday 9/17 - Witchcraft, TK Webb & The Visions, Graveyard @ Bowery Ballroom [$15]

GAH!! I had no idea Trouble & Minsk were playing NYC! And of course, I pick Sunday to move back to Philly. I hate my life.
What about yesterday? Growing/Krallice/Lightning Bolt followed by Inswarm/Villains/Crom... Followed by excessive drinking...
