Friends of crustcake, a member of our extended family has been struck with the tragic loss of both of her parents earlier this week. Black Bubblegum of Brooklyn Vegan explains:

First of all, I want to thank you guys for taking time out of your busy schedules to read this. It means alot to me/our site.
Unfortunately, the reason for this email is not a happy one. Lori Baily, our friend and contributing photographer to Brookylnvegan.com (she recently covered Cavalera Conspiracy/Dillinger Escape Plan and Stooges last week) received a heartbreaking call from the police on sunday.... both of her parents were murdered in their home in Nebraska. And they have a suspect already.
Anyway, as you would guess, this is an extremely trying time for her, both emotionally and financially. As a result, we have set up a Paypal account to provide donations to help Lori and her sister Heather during this terrible time in their lives.
