The Dillinger Escape Plan are back in the city this weekend (Saturday and Sunday nights at Irving Plaza...er, 'The Fillmore'), this time bringing along the reunited Brazilian thrash brothers of Cavelera Conspiracy, with Bury Your Dead and Incite. DEP put on a phenomenal show, and it should be mandatory viewing if you have never seen them before.

Also of note is a couple non-metal shows that will definitely be worth your time. First off (listen up kiddies!) the post-hardcore rantings of mewithoutYou will be doing their thing at Maxwell's Friday for a rare all ages show.

Maxwell's keeps it going next week too, hosting the legendary Bob Mould for two nights starting Wednesday.
