With little fanfare, Belgium's Amenra recently released Mass IIII via Hypertension Records. Download a cut above (no pun intended), courtesy of Black Bubblegum.

Mass IIII (cover art below) is a dark, desolate, swirling mass (no pun intended) of doom. Amenra draw influence from Neurosis and probably Isis, among others, but Mass IIII is a good deal darker and dirtier than anything the aforementioned bands ever put to tape.

Unfortunately, Hypertension doesn't seem to have made Mass IIII available digitally, so you'll either have to order the CD (which costs a whopping ten Euro + S&H, or roughly $20) or steal it, which we don't condone (at least not 'on the record', no pun intended). If you're in Europe, you can snag a disc from the band on one of their upcoming tour dates, which you can find after the jump.
