The Metal Gods hath smiled upon us this week, in the form of a monu-metal influx of heavy. Crust punk, D-Beat, stoner rock, folk-metal, battle-metal, grindcore, and more coming at you live from the Big Apple.

With so much to choose from, I've narrowed down my focus to two key shows: tonight's Paganfest USA stop at BB King's (sponsored by our colleagues over at MetalSucks) and Monday's Knitting Factory show featuring The Ocean (the German one, not the Canadian one), Kylesa, Lair of the Minotaur, and Withered.
