Huge Jawbreaker fan here. Huge. I may not be as huge a fan as some, but possibly more than others, and that is what it is.

I had a whole rant planned for this installment, but I forgot the main point, as I sometimes do. Let's just do a fake graph then:

Flo Chartz

As you can see, the God of Rock bestowed music upon us in the form of Jawbreaker. Now when Jawbreaker broke up, the mellower sounds were transferred to Jets to Brazil. Neither The Lawrence Arms or Blueline Medic have any physical association with the previous 'J' bands, but their sound can be seen as being highly influenced by them-- The Lawrence Arms' duel vocals call to mind a melding of Blake "Jawbreaker vocals" and Blake "Jets to Brazil vocals" in one band. Blueline Medic just remind me of a more rocking Jets, with vocals that range from Blake "Jets" era to the sad croonings of Morrissey.

And so with that, videos ---->

There's really nothing metal about this post, but that could be why it's so metal.

Oh yeah, the drummer from Texas is the Reason was in Jets, hence the little line thing and their name in the graph.
