05-24 Baltimore, MD - Sonar (Maryland Deathfest)
Look at that big ol' gap between the Providence gig and their appearance at the Maryland Deathfest a month later... Pitchfork wonders if they've yet more dates to announce in that space:
[E]ither Disfear are coming back around [for the Maryland Deathfest], or don't plan to leave.
Let's hope it's the latter case and that they'll be announcing some left coast dates for the sake of our friends out there.

French technical metallers Gojira are reportedly writing a new album, a followup to their very well-received 2005 LP From Mars to Sirius. They'll be putting the new tunes to tape in April, with massive amounts of touring to follow.

The as-yet-unnamed album will likely see a late 2008 release via Prosthetic Records (US) and Listenable Records (elsewhere).
Late 2008 seems a long way off, so here's a video of the band playing "Remembrance" from 2003's The Link to hold you over until then.

That's some technical shit, and flawlessly executed at that.
