Graveyard

Gothenburg, Sweden may be best known for the signature melodic death metal of bands like At The Gates and In Flames, but today there's another sound coming out of the Scandinavian town. Like their brethren Witchcraft, who hail from just up the road in Orebro, Graveyard are out to summon the gods of 70's psychedelia and proto-metal.

Graveyard's eponymous debut (out next Tuesday, 2/19 via Tee Pee Records) is a fantastic first outing and has been in steady rotation around here lately.

Graveyard are playing a couple gigs at SXSW, then heading up to Philadelphia, New York, and Massachusetts before hopping the pond for a full European tour. They play Luna Lounge on March 19th. Check out their MySpace page for more info.
