We dig The Cribs. They're a Brit-rock trio-- brothers Gary, Ryan, and Ross Jarman-- and their sound is a crusty pop or a shiny punk, depending on where you're coming from. Either way it works. They Jarmans three just released a video for "I'm a Realist," off their 2007 album Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever.

Not bad, but we prefer the video for "Men's Needs" (NSFW and well worth it).

Alright, enough sing-alongs. Next up we've got one that's a bit old, but we never really got around to giving this band their due in '07. Pig Destroyer released one of last year's most critically acclaimed albums, most notably claiming the top spot in Decibel's Top 40 Albums of 2007 list.
Here's their video for "Loathsome," directed by Dave Brodsky (who, as far as we know, is of no relation to the revered Stephen Brodsky of Cave In fame).
Pig Destroyer - "Loathsome":
Yesterday, Axl Rosenberg over at MetalSucks threw up a video of grindcore pioneers and Napalm Death shadow-liver-inners Extreme Noise Terror, "‘Cause [h] fuckin’ [felt] like it. And ’cause [he thinks] the British dude at the beginning is fuckin’ funny."
Ah, the beauties of blogging-- the freedom to do anything you want, any time you want, for any reason or no reason at all. Gotta love it! We sure as hell do...
Extreme Noise Terror - "Downside":
We knew Iron Maiden were huge, but damn. They're really fucking huge. Like everywhere. Including India:
That's it for today. Go Giants![MP3] The Cribs - "Men's Needs"
