Our favorite hyphenated-last-name Latino proggers released their fourth LP today, The Bedlam in Goliath (was all not well in the mind of David's adversary, or was there a riot in a town called Goliath?). We're still digesting the album in crustcake land, but on first listen it seems a bit more focused (read: listenable) than Amputechture. It's certainly no De-Loused, though. No big revelations there...
If you just picked up Bedlam yourself and suddenly you're all riled up about TMV again, MetalSucks has a comprehensive overview of Cedric and Omar's post-At the Drive in output which should keep you busy for hours.
Check out our fro-ed friends rocking out "Wax Simulacra" on Letterman, complete with a smoking performance by new drummer (and former child prodigy) Thomas Pridgen:[MP3] The Mars Volta - "Wax Simulacra"
